Good to know
Use unsweetened cacao or cocoa powder so the cherry flavor stays at the center.
Questions, answered.
Can I use fresh cherries?
Yes. Pit 1½ cups cherries and add ½ cup ice for the chilled texture frozen cherries provide.
Why add salt to a smoothie?
A tiny pinch makes the cherry and cacao flavors taste fuller; it should not make the drink taste salty.
