Sweet grapes and plums make a rich, fruit-forward juice, while lemon keeps it from tasting heavy. A short steep with rosemary adds a woodsy note without turning the drink medicinal or perfumed.
Ingredients
- 2 cups seedless red grapes
- 3 ripe plums, pitted and quartered
- ½ lemon, peeled
- 1 small rosemary sprig
- ½ cup cold water
- 1 cup ice
Method
- 1. Blend grapes, plums, lemon and cold water until smooth.
- 2. Pour through a fine sieve, pressing gently, then stir in the rosemary sprig for 5 minutes.
- 3. Remove rosemary, pour over ice and serve.

Good to know
Keep the rosemary infusion short. A few minutes gives aroma while a long steep can overwhelm the fruit.
Questions, answered.
Why strain this juice?
Plum skins and grape pulp can make the drink thick; straining creates a smoother, clearer pour.
Can I use frozen grapes?
Yes. Thaw them slightly and skip the ice for a colder, slushier juice.
